Upgrading or downgrading your plan
How to change your Dapplon subscription — upgrade to unlock more features or downgrade to reduce costs.
When to upgrade
Upgrade your plan when:
- You need features not available in your current plan (e.g., you need Recruitment and you are on Basic)
- You have hired more employees and are near the employee limit of your current plan
- You want to add the Contractor Management (CLMS) module
When to downgrade
Downgrade when:
- The features in your current plan are more than you currently need
- You are going through a lean period and want to reduce software costs
- You want to remove modules that your team is not actively using
Upgrading your plan
- Log in to admin.dapplon.com
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Click Change Plan
- Select the new plan from the plan comparison table
- Review the new pricing calculation
- Click Upgrade Now
The upgrade takes effect immediately. You are charged a pro-rated amount for the remaining days in the current billing month.
Note
When you upgrade, all the features in the new plan are available immediately. You do not have to wait for the next billing cycle.
Downgrading your plan
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Click Change Plan
- Select a lower plan
- Review which features you will lose — Dapplon shows a warning if your current data will be affected
- Confirm any data migration steps if required
- Click Downgrade
The downgrade takes effect at the start of the next billing month. You continue to have access to the higher plan's features until then.
Note
If you downgrade and lose access to a module (e.g., CLMS), your contractor data is not deleted. It is archived and restored if you upgrade again.
