Setting up job alerts
How to create job alerts on the Dapplon Job Portal so you are notified when new matching jobs are posted.
What are job alerts?
Job alerts automatically notify you by email when new jobs matching your criteria are posted on the Dapplon Job Portal. Instead of checking the site every day, the relevant jobs come to you.
You can create multiple alerts with different criteria — for example, one for "Backend Developer in Bangalore" and another for "Tech Lead Remote".
Creating a job alert
- Go to jobs.dapplon.com and use the search bar and filters to set up your desired criteria
- For example, search "Product Manager" and set Location to "Hyderabad" and Type to "Full-Time"
- Once the search results look relevant, click Save Search as Alert (below the search bar)
- Give the alert a name (e.g., "PM roles in Hyderabad")
- Set the frequency: Daily Digest, Instant (as soon as a new job posts), or Weekly Summary
- Click Create Alert
You immediately receive a confirmation email.
Managing your alerts
- Log in and go to your profile
- Click Job Alerts in the sidebar
- You see all your active alerts with their criteria and frequency
- Click Edit to change the criteria or frequency
- Click Delete to remove an alert you no longer need
- Toggle the Pause switch to temporarily stop alerts without deleting them
What the alert emails look like
Each alert email includes:
- The alert name
- Number of new matching jobs since the last email
- Up to 5 job cards with title, company, location, and salary range
- A link to see all matching jobs on the portal
Note
Alert emails come from [email protected]. Add this to your contacts to prevent them from landing in spam.
