Marking attendance and viewing timesheets
Ways to mark attendance
Dapplon supports several methods for employees to record attendance. Your company uses whichever method the HR team has configured:
Mobile app clock-in — the most common method. Open the Dapplon app, tap Clock In, and tap Clock Out when you leave. GPS is optionally used to confirm you are at the workplace.
Web portal clock-in — at employee.dapplon.com, go to Attendance and click Clock In. This is used for employees who work at desks.
Biometric device — if your office has a fingerprint or face-scan device, attendance is captured automatically when you scan.
Clocking in on the web portal
- Log in to employee.dapplon.com
- Go to Attendance in the left sidebar
- Click the large Clock In button
- The button changes to Clock Out — click this when you finish for the day
- Your attendance for today is recorded
Viewing your monthly timesheet
- Go to Attendance > My Timesheet
- Use the month picker to select the month
- Each row shows one working day with:
- Status: Present, Absent, Late, Half Day, or Holiday
- Clock In Time and Clock Out Time
- Total Hours worked
- Days marked Absent have no clock-in record
Requesting an attendance correction
If you were present but the system shows Absent (e.g., forgot to clock in):
- Go to Attendance > My Timesheet
- Find the incorrect day
- Click Request Correction
- Enter the actual clock-in and clock-out times
- Write a brief reason
- Submit — your manager or HR approves the correction
