Scheduling interviews and collecting feedback
How to schedule interviews in Dapplon, send calendar invites, and collect structured feedback from interviewers.
The interview workflow
Dapplon's interview scheduler connects your candidate pipeline to your team's calendars. You can schedule video or in-person interviews, send calendar invites to all participants, and collect structured feedback from each interviewer — all from the candidate's profile.
Scheduling an interview
- Open the candidate's profile in Recruitment > Candidates
- Click Schedule Interview
- Select the Interview Type: Phone Screen, Technical Round, HR Round, or Final Round
- Select the Format: In-Person, Video Call (Google Meet link is generated automatically), or Phone
- Click on the date in the calendar to select the time slot
- Add Interviewers from your team — they must be registered Dapplon users
- Add optional notes for the interviewers (e.g., "Focus on system design skills")
- Click Send Invites
All interviewers receive a calendar invite with the meeting link (if video) or location.
Collecting interviewer feedback
After the interview, each interviewer is prompted (via email) to submit their feedback in Dapplon.
Steps for the interviewer:
- Click the link in the feedback request email
- Or log in to admin.dapplon.com and go to Recruitment > My Feedback
- Rate the candidate on predefined criteria: Technical Skills, Communication, Culture Fit, and Problem Solving
- Write detailed notes in the free-text section
- Give an overall recommendation: Strong Yes, Yes, No, Strong No
- Click Submit Feedback
Viewing consolidated feedback
The hiring manager can see all interviewers' feedback in one place:
- Open the candidate's profile
- Click the Feedback tab
- All submitted feedback appears as individual cards with ratings and notes
- A summary chart shows the average score per criteria
Note
Interviewers cannot see each other's feedback until they have submitted their own. This prevents anchoring bias.
