Recruitment & Hiring
Managing the recruitment pipeline
How to manage candidates through your hiring pipeline — stages, filters, bulk actions, and moving candidates forward.
How the pipeline works
Every application in Dapplon moves through a series of stages from first contact to hire or rejection. You can customise the stage names in Recruitment > Pipeline Settings, but the default flow is:
Applied → Screening → Technical Round → HR Round → Offer → Hired (or Rejected)
Each stage has its own view where you can see all candidates at that point and take bulk or individual actions.
Viewing your pipeline
- Go to Recruitment > Candidates
- Use the Job filter to focus on a specific opening
- Use the Stage filter to see candidates at a particular step
- The candidate cards show name, application date, resume link, and current stage
Moving a candidate to the next stage
- Open the candidate's profile by clicking their name
- Review their resume, cover letter, and any responses to screening questions
- Click Move to Next Stage in the top-right corner
- The candidate is notified by email that they are moving forward
Rejecting a candidate
- Open the candidate's profile
- Click Reject
- Choose a rejection reason from the dropdown (e.g., "Not enough experience", "Role closed")
- Choose whether to send a rejection email automatically — Dapplon uses a polite default template
- Click Confirm Rejection
Note
Rejected candidates remain in the system. You can search for them later if a suitable role opens up.
Bulk actions
When you have many candidates to process:
- On the Candidates list, check the boxes next to multiple candidates
- Click Bulk Action and choose: Move Stage, Reject, or Assign Recruiter
- This is especially useful after a screening round when you want to reject a large batch at once
In this section
- Creating a job posting
- Using the Kanban hiring board
- Scheduling interviews and collecting feedback
