Resetting your password
How to reset a forgotten password, what to do if the reset email does not arrive, and how admins can reset passwords for others.
Resetting your own password
- Go to the login page for your panel (e.g., employee.dapplon.com)
- Click Forgot Password? below the Sign In button
- Enter your registered email address
- Click Send Reset Link
- Check your inbox (and spam folder) for an email from [email protected]
- Click the link in the email — it opens a page where you can set a new password
- Enter a new password that is at least 8 characters and includes a number and special character
- Click Reset Password
- You are automatically logged in
Note
The password reset link expires in 1 hour. If you missed it, go back to the login page and request a new one.
If the reset email does not arrive
- Check your spam or junk folder
- Make sure you used the exact email your account was created with — try variations if unsure
- Wait 5 minutes — email delivery can sometimes be delayed
- If after 10 minutes there is no email, contact your HR admin to reset your password from the admin panel
HR admin resetting an employee's password
- Log in to admin.dapplon.com
- Go to Employees and open the employee's profile
- Click Reset Password in the top-right action menu
- Click Send Reset Link — a reset email is sent to the employee's registered email
- Alternatively, click Set Temporary Password to create a one-time password that the employee must change on first login
